Modern transfer stations ensure smooth waste transport and thus contribute to an overall more cost-effective and environmentally friendly waste recycling. At the stations, the materials can be transferred to large-capacity transports, walking floors or rail, for example. Depending on the transport system chosen, this requires slightly different planning. For example, rail connections must be precisely timed for a smooth transport process, and all construction and process engineering procedures must be precisely coordinated with each other.
